REOPENING MAY 4TH
May the 4th be with us!
We are excited at the prospect of safely reopening Woof Central on May 4th!
Grooming Customers:
We’ve added appointment slots and are calling to reschedule appointments missed during the closure. New appointments will be booked after these are filled.
Daycare Customers:
Reserve your spots online through your client portal, or let us know the dates you want to reserve through webchat or over the phone.
We’ve also implemented new drop off & pick up protocols to reduce contact and keep gates, doors and the entire facility disinfected. (SEE BELOW)
We hope we are getting closer to the end of this outbreak and that you and your family remain healthy. We are determined to live in faith, not fear and pray you are able to do the same.

New Woof Central Protocols
Our goal, as always is to protect the health and safety of you, your pets, and our employees. Here are our procedures as we reopen in this new normal:
- All payments will be done online or over the phone
- We will have a double-gated outdoor drop off and pick up area. You will enter one gate area and secure the entrance before putting your dog in the second area for our employees to bring into the building. We’ll just reverse the process end of day
- We will use our own slip leads to bring in the dogs. You will take all leashes and harnesses home with you and bring them back at pick up
- A Woof staffer will disinfect the gates and handles regularly
- Our loading dock and front sidewalk will become the social distancing staging area
- If you have a lengthy question for our front desk or other staff, consider calling between 10 and 3 to keep our drop offs and pick ups as quick as possible
- As in all aspects of our lives right now, practice good hand washing and if you are sick, stay home. Our staff will do the same
- Our staff will be wearing masks per the CDC guidelines and we encourage you to do the same
Grooming
- We are spreading our appointments throughout the day so our groomers and bathers will have appropriate social distancing
- Your groomer will come outside to talk about your grooming needs
Some of the things we do every day already help us…
- Our playrooms are equipped with an Air Exchange system that is rated for infectious disease prevention and cycles fresh outside air up to 6 times per hour.
- We clean our suites, dens & playrooms wall-to-wall daily
- Our Century-Q 256 disinfectant is approved by the EPA for use in hospitals and effective at killing the Covid-19 virus
